What is VALORANT?
VALORANT is a 5v5 tactical hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games. Released on PC on 2 June 2020, it blends precise gunplay with agents — characters whose abilities create or deny space — and came to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2024. Competitive rounds revolve around attackers planting the Spike (the bomb) and defenders stopping them.
Every agent fits one of four roles: Duelist, Initiator, Controller and Sentinel.

The country's most accomplished pro is d4v41, the Malaysian in-game leader of Paper Rex and the first Malaysian to play at a VCT international event.
