What is the VALORANT Champions Tour?

The VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) is VALORANT's global esports circuit, run by Riot Games. It is built around franchised international leagues whose seasons feed two annual Masters events and the season-ending world final, VALORANT Champions.

VCT 2026 structure

In 2026 the VCT runs four international leaguesAmericas, EMEA, Pacific and China — with 12 teams each (48 total). The season flows from Kickoff through Masters (Santiago, then London) and two stages into VALORANT Champions 2026 in Shanghai, with each region sending four teams to the world final.

2026 is reported to be the final franchised season, with the VCT planned to return to an open-qualifier system from 2027 — a forward-looking plan that may still change.

The most recent world champions are NRG (Americas), who beat Fnatic (EMEA) 3–2 in the grand final in Paris — NRG's first VALORANT Champions title.
