The Aegis of Champions is the physical trophy — a heavy shield — awarded to the winners of The International (TI), the annual Dota 2 world championship. It is the most coveted prize in the sport; champions are immortalised on it each year.
Don't confuse it with the Aegis of the Immortal, the in-game item dropped by Roshan. Same name, two very different things: one is a trophy you lift on stage, the other revives your hero mid-match.
