The Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF) is the official national governing body for esports in Malaysia. The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) recognised MESF as the country's official national esports body in November 2024.
Role and standing
MESF was first registered with the National Sports Commissioner in 2014 and was promoted to federation status in 2020. It is an affiliate of the International Esports Federation (IESF) and the Asian Electronic Sports Federation (AESF), and it coordinates Malaysia's 13 state esports associations — making it the custodian of national-team selection and international representation.
