What is MEAP?
The Malaysia E-sports Accelerator Program (MEAP) is a Ministry of Youth and Sports programme that supports Malaysian athletes and teams competing internationally — the high-performance counterpart to the grassroots-focused Dana E-Sukan KBS (DEK) grant.
MEAP 2026 at a glance
- Allocation: RM500,000 for 2026.
- Launched: 12 March 2026, together with DEK.
- Combined with DEK: the two programmes total RM1.5 million for 2026.
Both are delivered through Esports Integrated (ESI) under KBS.
